Fast, Friendly, Clean and Professional!
Attic insulation damaged by an infestation of rodents or by water from a leaky roof requires removal to prevent further contamination in the home.
Wet insulation will mold, which can spread to other areas. Rodent-infested insulation becomes a home for more rodents and is unhealthy and unsafe. Once rodent droppings and urine contaminate insulation, you must remove and replace the insulation.
Stirring up dust and fecal matter might lead to contracting potentially fatal diseases. Also asbestos and older fiberglass products can be very dangerous to work with without protective equipment
We’ve SAVED our customers THOUSANDS of DOLLARS! All too often homeowners figure all the insulation needs to be removed from the attic, this is rarely the case! More often than not, rodents congregate around the furnace or a few other spots. Because there are usually just a few areas affected, we offer “Spot Removal”, which very simply means we remove the insulation and debris around the various areas where the rodents were. No need to remove 100% of the insulation when only 2% of the insulation is affected.
Blown-In Insulation Removal
We use a high-powered, specially designed vacuum, which is connected to a very long hose. All of the dust and debris can be suctioned up safely and efficiently and collected in a large-volume filter bag, which is specifically designed to collect the insulation material. This material is then placed outside of the home. With such technology, removing blown-in insulation is a safer task.
This ensures a clean job where little or no debris enters the home.
Batt Insulation Removal
This is often done by placing the insulation in contractor trash bags and manually removing it from the attic. This still requires a professional approach in order to avoid any possible dust contamination or potential health risks. In the rare instances where insulation removal is required, we hand-remove the fiberglass rolls and pack them in bags that are carefully removed from your attic.
